2025 – Spring Assessment Test

A huge thank you to Phil Lewis for letting us invade and run the dogs on his ground. Thanks to Skinners Dog Food as always for their support with certificates and vouchers, our test secretary Ron James for organising the day, as well as our wonderful helpers, and our Judges Richard Heseltine and Jon Rees.

Spring Working Test held on Sunday 2nd April 2017

                                Judges and Winners of the Spring Test 2017

Results of the Spring Working Test held at “Waterwynch” by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Dai Ormond. The weather was kind, dry with a gentle breeze and the ground was tussocky white grass and laid bracken which gave the dogs the opportunity to show off their hunting skills.

Forty dogs ran overall under the judges for the day, Mr Dai Myers and Mr Chris Morgan. Prizes for the winners were dog food kindly donated by Mr & Mrs Dai Myers once again.

At the end of the Test, the Society presented Mr Dai Ormond with an engraved crystal decanter to mark the occasion of his winning the Cocker Spaniel Championship, 2017.
